Great for building strength
After going through AX1, AX2, and most of Xero, I find the Max Size has the most focus on core muscle and strength building, I went from 8 pull ups to 15 at the last week of the program
First Program I’ve ever done
I have always wanted to do weights to try and bulk up as I’m a skinny bloke but I didn’t want to just go to a gym without a plan. The program was a pleasant surprise, step by step videos, short but intense workouts which I really value because I work 12 hour days and workout at 4:30am to leave for work at 6. Rest day every 2-3 days so I can reward myself with a sleep in which is satisfying knowing you are keeping to the program. The only thing holding me back is how hard I push myself which can only be controlled by me. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars was because the second month of workouts I found I couldn’t always get done in 45 min so I would have to take 2 days to complete one day which threw me out a little. But overall a great program and I’m very lucky that this is my starting point when it comes to lifting weights.

I have put on size and muscle and have more definition now thanks to this program. One thing that they could added to the program could be cool down stretches that have been pick by Jeff that could work in with what muscles or exercises you are doing on that day and possibly when to do them. The push pull concentric and eccentric part of the program was my favorite and I never thought about working out like that before but I loved it. Look forward to doing another program

An excellent strengthening program
I have done most of the AX programs, including NXT. Any time I start a new program I hesitate at the beginning if the program will fit my goals… They always do. The program before Max Size has been Max Shred, and I think that it has been the most fundamental and athletic program of AX: I lost fat, learned to hip hinge properly and all the fundamentals. In my opinion Max Shred has been the best program so far, by combining burst training and strength training. Max Size follows as an excellent strengthening program teaching the fundamentals in weight lifting. I personally miss the burst training in this program, although I I understand that it doesn’t fit with the main goal. So far I feel stronger and appreciate more muscular definition of my chest and arms.

Workouts are an A+ in both design and intensity really pushing my limits
Each month of training was completely different than the last. This is how all Athlean programs go, but I felt as though each month tested my limits in a much more unique fashion than any other program. The last month was my least favorite of all of them, but I appreciate pushing through the uncomfortable and awkward phases.
Jeff definitely knows what he’s doing! This program really pushes you and the results will make you be grateful that it did!
Challenging and Educational!
I have been lifting all my life but learned so much doing this program. I will definitely do this routine again and purchase another.
